Hello everyone!
This week the students and I have been working on the human body! We learned the names of different body parts, and we did a role-play "at the doctor's office"!!
We also created some funny and colorful monsters, that we would love to introduce to you!

So here is my monster!
His name is Rainbow. He has three blue eyes, a big nose and green teeth.
He has an orange head and a yellow body.
He has six arms and twenty-four fingers (four fingers on each hand).
He has three legs and three feet.
He likes to wear colorful clothes, and shoes of different colors.
He's lovely!

The students wrote their own fables!!

I am very proud of Woo-Jin, Ga-Young, Yoo-Jin, Ye-Ji and Ga-Eun. Last week I gave them a difficult assignment : they had to write their own fables! It isn't an easy task, but they did it wonderfully.

You can read their three stories on this blog :

- Ga-Young and Woo-Jin worked together and came up with 'The fish and the eagle' story plot. In the end they decided to write their own personal version of the same story.

- Ga-Eun, Ye-Ji and Yoo-Jin worked together as a team to write 'The Dolphin's Effort'.

In both stories you will discover a lesson on friendship, showing that people can be friends despite their differences!

Yes! Different people CAN be friends!!

THE DOLPHIN'S EFFORT

Today the dolphin's show opens.

Dolphin's name is BOO.

But Boo has no skills.

Boo is scared.

Finally the show starts.

It's Boo's turn.

Boo looks at one girls.

Her name is Kelly.

Her legs are sick.

She can't walk.

She is in a wheel chair.

Kelly says, "dolphin! you can jump! try again!"

With Kelly's words Boo has confidence.

So Boo jumps and and does very well.

He is happy!

The next day, Boo's show opens again.

Kelly came to Boo's show.

Boo listens to people's clap and he feels proud.

Kelly and Boo are now best friends.

Boo and Kelly have sunny smiles.

The fish and the eagle

One day an eagle was flying in the sky.

A hunter shot the eagle in the wing.

The eagle's wing is broken.

He can't fly so he falls in the sea.

The eagle can't swim, he is drowning.

He thinks he will die by himself.
But he bumps a big fish.

The fish takes the eagle to the beach.

The eagle says "Thank you." and Eagle and Fish become friends.

Eagle takes care of his wing and goes home.

The eagle is talking about the big fish story to his friends.

Eagle's friends think 'Fish must be delicious!' and say "let's go eat fish!".

Eagle is surprised, and dissuades eagle's friends.

"Fish saved my life. So please don`t eat!".

So eagle's friends don`t eat fish.

And eagle's friends are now friends with all the fish.

The fish and the eagle

One day an eagle was flying in the sky.

A hunter shot the eagle.

The eagle's wing is broken.

He falls in the sea.

The eagle can't swim. He shouts for help. A fish is listening.

The fish helps the eagle. Fish takes Eagle to the beach.

Eagle is speaking "thanks thanks".

They are now friends.

And then they see other eagles in the sky.

They want to eat the fish.

The eagle says: "No! He is my friend! He saved my life."
"No! birds and fish can't be friends!" say the other eagles.

Then the fish says: "Yes we can be friends! We help each other!"

Different people can be friends.
